How a project works

  1. Brief

You tell us the question, the audience, where the map will be published and the deadline.

  2. Proposal

We reply within two working days with the approach, the data, a timeline and a price.

  3. Drafts

You see an early draft and one round of revisions, with the sources and method written down.

  4. Delivery

Final files in the formats you need, with a short note on the data and its limits.

Selected work

Case studies will be added here. Meanwhile, the maps show the style and depth of the work.

Questions

How long does a custom map take?

A single static map usually takes one to two weeks. Interactive maps and analysis take longer; the proposal gives a date.

Which formats do you deliver?

PNG and SVG for print and web, PDF for reports, and embeddable interactive maps. Source files on request.

Can you use our own data?

Yes. We can combine your data with open datasets, and we keep confidential data confidential.

How should the map be credited?

Usually "Map: SpatialStat" with the data source. The exact line is agreed in the proposal and in the licence.

Do you work in languages other than English?

Yes. Maps and labels can be prepared in English, Russian and Kazakh, and other languages with a translator.
