Privacy policy
We collect as little as possible: your email if you subscribe, and anonymous visit counts.

This policy explains what personal data SpatialStat (https://spatialstat.com) processes, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: info@spatialstat.com.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to Field notes, your email address is stored by our newsletter provider, [name of service], only to send you the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Visit statistics
We use [name of analytics service] to count visits and see which pages are read. [Describe whether it uses cookies; a cookie-free service such as Plausible or Fathom needs no consent banner.] We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Fonts and hosting
Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Interactive maps
When you open an interactive map, your browser loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap. Like any web request, this shares your IP address with that service. Maps load only when you scroll to them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Write to info@spatialstat.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
